MasterTool IEC XE offers powerful capabilities for monitoring and forcing digital and analog variables during the commissioning process. The tool enables real-time visualization of registers and source code, along with online editing and application loading.

Its "trace" function provides a clear, graphical view of internal variables directly from the controller, allowing for quick data visualization and troubleshooting—without needing SCADA systems or additional software. All actions taken by the CPU and the developer are logged in a retentive data log for future review and analysis.
