Performance and connectivity with Xpress PLC

A aplicação desenvolvida utiliza como peça-chave o CLP XP340, modelo mais completo da Série NX, com um CLP XP300 atuando como expansão de E/S, aumentando a oferta de pontos de comunicação e permitindo que o CLP interaja com mais dispositivos.

In this setup, communication between PLCs is handled via CANopen, while the XP340 connects to field devices using the RS-485 serial port and MODBUS RTU protocol. In some cases, the solution is enhanced with an X2 Series HMI for recipe input and production control.

Cloud-ready multiprotocol communication

In addition to the field operations, the solution integrates a cloud platform for data storage and processing, along with a SCADA system to oversee production processes.

Para enviar os dados de operação à plataforma na nuvem o CLP da Série XP utiliza o protocolo de comunicação MQTT, enquanto a comunicação com o supervisório é feita via OPC DA. Por sua vez, o software supervisório também pode fazer consultas ao banco de dados na nuvem utilizando o protocolo MQTT.
