PET Blowing Machines

Modernization of blow molding machines

With a streamlined and robust design, the new continuous extrusion blow molding machines from Pavan Zanetti, one of the largest machinery manufacturers in Latin America, are powered by Altus technology and engineering expertise.

Control solution for the new blow molding line

The solution implemented includes a fully integrated rack featuring components from the Nexto Programmable Controller System, such as the power supply, CPU, and analog and digital I/O expansions, all communicating with the iX Series HMI, which provides the user interface for the control system.

This combination of technologies, together with the engineering intelligence of the Altus team, enables the machine to carry out forward and backward table movements and control the thickness of the blown bottles in record time — under 3 milliseconds.

Newton Zanetti, CEO of Pavan Zanetti, shared that the initial results have been very positive and that the machine is operating at full capacity. "The professionals working with us have shown the highest level of professionalism and expertise. The products were properly sized and are delivering excellent performance," he said.

Looking ahead, the CEO sees great potential in the partnership between Altus and Pavan Zanetti: "We’re entering a challenging period of accelerating deindustrialization in the country, which is very concerning," Zanetti noted. "I believe this partnership will help keep companies in the sector competitive and thriving," the CEO concluded.
