Urucum Mining DCS

Digital Control System

Altus provided the technology to develop a new Digital Control System for the manganese extraction plant at Urucum Mineração, located in Cuiabá.

Urucum Mining DCS for Production Plant

This solution is designed to measure and track the total volume and mass of water used in VALE - Urucum Mineração's ore processing operations. The new system aims to centralize all information related to the use of water resources in the beneficiation process.

The area was equipped with instrumentation, and Motorola communication radios were used to connect measurement points to the Indusoft Web Studio supervisory system via Ethernet.
