Vento de Palmares Wind Farm

To connect the Vento de Palmares Wind Farm to the electrical distribution grid, Altus provided a comprehensive solution for control, protection, and data acquisition, serving both the plant and the Lagoa do Quintão Substation, located in Rio Grande do Sul.

These systems ensure the protection and control of the substations involved in linking the plant to CEEE-D’s transmission network, allowing the energy generated to be efficiently fed into the grid. The solution enabled the seamless integration of the wind farm’s generated power into the utility’s distribution system.
