Altus' solution implemented a programmable NX3020 controller with 136 I/O points (64 AI, 24 AO, 32 DI, and 16 DO), communicating via the MODBUS TCP protocol, ideal for high demand counting applications. The system also retained some of the existing QK801 and AL-600 equipment, which had been part of the plant’s previous automation setup
