Mundo Novo WWTP

Sludge Dewatering System

Altus was responsible for specifying and developing the automation project for the sludge dewatering system at Parque Novo Mundo WWTP, a key part of Sabesp’s Tietê River Cleanup Program.

Automation of the Sludge Dewatering System

The system provided by Altus integrates with the equipment responsible for the mechanical dewatering of sludge using filter presses. It includes a PLC mounted in a panel and a supervisory system. The gateway not only connects the supervisory system to the PLC but also interfaces the system with the process network already installed at Novo Mundo WWTP, which was previously supplied by Altus.
